About

I'm Jessie Tyler. I make pottery with my hands in Ashland, Ohio.
Every piece starts as a lump of clay on my wheel. I throw it, trim it, glaze it, and fire it — all by hand, all by me. No molds. No assembly line. No two exactly alike.
I'm a dad of two with a day job, and I make pottery in the hours around all of that. My goal is pretty simple: sell enough of this stuff that I can do it full-time. Every mug you buy gets me a little closer.
What I make
Mugs, tumblers, bowls, oil pourers — things you'll actually use every day. Morning coffee. Weeknight cooking. My work isn't shelf pottery. It's built to be grabbed, used, washed, and grabbed again.
Everything is food-safe, lead-free, and dishwasher and microwave safe.
The glaze library
Color is my thing. I've spent years testing and layering glazes, and I've got 17 combinations I can put on any piece I make. Fall in love with a glaze on a mug? You can get that same glaze on a whole matching set.
Custom work for shops
I make custom mugs for coffee shops and breweries — house mugs, mug clubs, retail walls. If you've got a shop and want mugs with your name on them, let's talk.
Find me in person
I do art shows around Ohio through the season. Come pick things up with your own hands — that's still my favorite way to sell pottery. Check the events page to see where I'll be next.
Thanks for being here. It means a lot that you'd bring something I made into your home.
