My First Vintage Market Days — The Recap
Share
Three days, one booth, and a whole lot of pottery finding new homes.
Vintage Market Days is one of those big weekend markets — vintage finds, handmade goods, home stuff everywhere — and this was my first time setting up a booth there (October 9–11). I brought the trailer loaded with mugs, tumblers, pourers, and spoon rests, not totally sure what to expect.
What happened: you showed up. Thank you.
Here's a quick walk of the booth before the doors opened:
What everybody grabbed
The To Go Tumblers were the runaway favorite — they went out the door all weekend long. Oil Pourers were right behind them, then Spoon Rests and Straw Tumblers. Ohio Mugs did their usual thing too.
My favorite part was how many of you were buying for other people. One for you, one for your favorite person — that's exactly how I hope this stuff gets bought. A handmade mug lands different when it's a gift.
And here's the booth doing what it does best — staying busy. Ohio Coffee Mom came by the booth too — here's her post from it:
The best part of the weekend
Honestly? The conversations. People asking how the glazes work, telling me who the piece was for, coming back the next day with a friend. I make this stuff at my wheel in Ashland, Ohio, and weekends like this are where it all makes sense.

And a big thank-you to the Vintage Market Days crew for having me out for my first one — the show was packed, the crowd was great, and I'm already hoping you'll have me back next year.
Missed the show?
The pieces that survived the weekend are up on the site now, and I'm already making for the holidays. Follow along on Instagram @jessietylerceramics — that's where new work and the next shows get announced first.
See you at the next one.
